Norse Group has a growing portfolio of joint venture partnerships with several public sector clients, and is committed to delivering exceptional service levels whilst remaining commercially sustainable for our partners.
As a result of ongoing development across the Group, we are in a position to recruit a Head of Finance located at our Head Office, Norwich, Norfolk.
Your role will form part of the senior finance management team, taking responsibility for a portfolio of joint venture partnerships. You will be leading and directing the profitability of our partnerships, influencing operational and financial aspects of a number of our joint ventures.
This is a diverse and challenging position, driving the financial management of divisions within your portfolio with revenues in excess of £100m. You will influence the short and long term financial planning of our partnerships, identifying opportunities for process remodelling and proposing the implementation of change to improve efficiency whilst providing insight to the business financial strategy.
You will be an inspirational leader, motivating and managing a team of finance professionals, including Finance Business Partners and Management Accountants, to monitor the overall financial performance of our joint ventures within your portfolio, identifying areas of success, development and risk mitigation whilst offering support, guidance and direction.
Our Successful Candidate:
We are looking for you to contribute a blend of professional training, commercial experience and financial knowledge to the position, highlighted by;
Recognised professional finance / accounting qualification and ongoing membership, including ACCA, ACA or equivalent
Significant experience within a senior finance position, demonstrating commercial acumen with an emphasis on financial due diligence, financial modelling and business planning.
Ability to think strategically, assessing information and impact affecting local and wider business teams.
Ability to lead, motivate and develop a multi-disciplined finance team.
Excellent communication skills, confident engaging with and presenting information to senior management including directors and the board.
Capable providing input to business strategy, with experience driving short and long term strategy plans.
