 As the Organisational Development Lead you will be working on projects that help us ensure we are a great employer and organisation of choice for top talent in local government.  You will be responsible for developing and implementing OD initiatives identified through engagement with staff via our annual staff survey and associated workshops and ideas generated through engagement on our newly corporate values and behaviours. 

 You will be working in the Organisational Development team that supports the organisation to ensure its workforce is ready and able to provide all the services our resident need.  You will play an essential role in ensuring that staff feel their voice is heard and, action is taken so that everyone can see the play pivotal role they play in the future of the Councils.

About you  

 Organisational Development experience - Do you have in-depth experience and knowledge in implementing ideas in an OD setting?  You will need to have a good understanding of best practice, experience of implementing initiatives and a passion for improvement. 

 Project management – You will need have the skills to effectively project manage the implementation of new initiatives to improve the experiences of staff working at Richmond and Wandsworth.  You will employ project management best practice and your excellent organisation skills to ensure projects are delivered successfully. 

 Data – You will be able to gather, understand and interpret data from various sources to inform your ideas. 

 Digital skills – You will have a good understanding of digital tools - how they work and how to maximise their use to make improvements. 

 Building Relationships – You'll be working with a variety of stakeholders at all levels of the organisation so need to be able to build professional relationships and communicate through a variety of platforms. 

 

Essential Qualifications, Skills and Experience 

 Experience in an Organisational Develop team that has implemented significant change initiatives. 

Good communication skills including written and presentation skills. 

Good understanding of how to effectively oversee a project. 

Understanding of how to interpret feedback and utilize data from various sources.
