Location: Stevenage, Hertfordshire SG1 2FX

Sodexo is offering an exciting opportunity for a Campus Services Lead to represent our services across various campus spaces at the Stevenage Campus. In this role, you'll be the driving force behind ensuring exceptional customer experiences while upholding Sodexo's high standards. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of crucial tasks. You'll take charge of proactively managing and monitoring the performance of all Sodexo services across campus spaces. This means constantly seeking ways to improve and innovate, ensuring that we always meet our contractual agreements.

 

Additionally, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting the Senior Operations Manager (Campus) by providing direction, motivation, and skill development for operational teams. Your leadership will be instrumental in guiding our teams towards success. As the visible and approachable Campus Lead for Sodexo operatives, you'll be the go-to person for resolving operational issues with diplomacy and effectiveness. Your presence and guidance will ensure smooth operations and a positive working environment.

 

Ensuring the safety, legal compliance, and functionality of all assets managed by Sodexo at the Stevenage Campus will be another critical aspect of your role. You'll collaborate closely with the Sodexo Leadership Team to define and maintain consistent best practices, fostering an environment of excellence and efficiency. Moreover, you'll be responsible for optimising the performance and encouraging the development of your direct reports. Your leadership will drive service excellence and customer satisfaction through the effective management of department managers.

 

Maintaining positive relationships with site client representatives and customers will be essential, as you'll work to maximize customer satisfaction and uphold Sodexo's reputation for excellence. Furthermore, you'll oversee staff training and development, ensuring compliance with Sodexo procedures, health and safety regulations, and legislative requirements. Your adherence to all company compliance and audit processes and procedures will be crucial in upholding our standards of quality and integrity.

 

Your ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels will be key, as you'll build and maintain strong relationships to support our goals and objectives. In essence, as a Campus Services Lead at Sodexo, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring operational excellence, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and delivering exceptional service that exceeds expectations.

About You  

 

Experience and knowledge requirement for this role:  

 

  • Commercially skilled with experience in managing large and diverse workforces.
  • Thorough knowledge of the FM (Facilities Management) industry
  • Extensive experience in customer service
  • Possesses recognized Health & Safety qualification.
  • Understanding of the pharmaceutical industry
