Digital Marketing Manager

SALARY & HOURS

£35- £45k (dependant on experience). Monday to Friday ONLY, 9am – 5:30pm (37.5 hours)

LOCATION

Due to the impact of COVID-19, initially this role will be working from home. Once we return to the office we’re located in the heart of Sale Moor Village next to Sale Water Park, only a stone’s throw away from the M60 and just a short 5-minute walk from the Airport Metro Link line and Sale Town Centre.

OUR ROLE

As a Verastar Digital Marketing Manager you will be given massive autonomy to make things happen and a platform to display your skills, determination and energy in a positive way and drive our marketing strategy forward. Initially the role will focus on supporting The Insurance Octopus with opportunities to develop into supporting our other business brands.

Your focus will be:

  • Overall management of our Website, PPC, SEO Content, Email and Social strategy to ensure our in house digital agency teams are aligned to our objectives.
  • Development of our customer journey strategy through intelligent data management and insights, encompassing marketing automation, email campaigns and more.
  • Building and developing relationships with the internal sales division to create, monitor and analyse successful campaigns.
  • Campaign analysis & reporting to drive forward strategic opportunities and maximise ROI.
  • Continuous improvement of all external and internal marketing communications whether this be print or digital.
  • Managing cross-sell campaigns alongside our sister and parent companies as well as assisting in establishing new online partnerships and advertising opportunities.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Previous marketing experience is required with a great grasp of all things digital including PPC, SEO, Social and Email/Marketing automation. You will be an expert in lead generation with experience of using a multitude of different digital tools to improve business and marketing efficiency and effectiveness:

  • Marketing degree, or CIM Educated, with at least 2 years’ experience in a professional service based B2B digital marketing environment.
  • Hands on PPC management and email/marketing automation experience (experience with DotDigital or similar software).
  • Experience in using CMS such as WordPress, landing page software (Instapage), conversion rate optimisation (VWO, Optimizely), Automation (Zapier) and Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Working knowledge of HTML/CSS
  • Proven results in a similar environment and able to demonstrate practical application of marketing tools to manage activity
  • Excellent literacy, numeracy and analytical skills – comfortable with Excel, PowerPoint, Word etc.
