To meet our ambition of delivering an exciting and outstanding educational experience, we are looking for an enthusiastic and inspiring Construction Multi Skilled lecturer with skills in Plastering, Painting and Decorating, Tiling and Brickwork with a proven record of high success and a strong desire to encourage learners to reach their full potential. You will be able to demonstrate the ability to motivate students through the use of varied teaching and learning strategies.

The post holder will be required to teach on a range of multi skilled courses - up to and including Level 3. Applicants will need to demonstrate good working knowledge of Plastering, Painting and Decorating. Tiling and Brickwork, Health and Safety and the principals of the construction industry. Knowledge of teaching Maths and English to construction learners is desirable.

The post will also include conducting onsite apprenticeship reviews and workplace assessments at varied locations to our growing provision of Level 2 and Level 3 apprentices, so thorough knowledge of the skills required and the ability to travel with the use of your own vehicle is essential.

Our construction department is a thriving area in the college and we are looking for applicants who will work to develop and embrace exciting and innovative modes of delivery. We welcome applications from newly qualified teachers who hold a PGCE or DTLLS or industry experienced applicants who are willing to undertake an appropriate teaching qualification.
