As Business Account Executive, you will be working with our Business Account Manager's supporting them in the day to day Account Management and Delivery of sustained profitable growth for our customers!

Customer collaboration is key, working across different departments including the Buying Team, Supply Chain, Quality Control and Marketing to improve the communication and relationship we have with them.

Key accountabilities include:

  • Management of day to day customer requirements to include shopper research, sampling and benchmarking sessions
  • Identifying key insights and actions internally and with the customer
  • Providing category analysis to support the customer innovation and category process
  • Validation and checking of sets of data to ensure business information is aligned (e.g. – Sales forecast)
  • Owning and delivering a schedule of reporting to capture all business requirements
  • Maintaining database of knowledge and data relating to our customer

What we’re looking for

You will need to be personable with strong communication skills and have keen eye for detail with the ability to understand and interpret industry and retail data to develop commercial plans. 

Previous experience in a similar role in the FMCG sector would be advantageous 

Other key requirements: 

  • Relationship building skills: ability to build effective cross-functional relationships internally and externally, able to understand and overcome objections in order to land strong commercial plans
  • Negotiation and selling skills: Demonstrates strong negotiation skills and works effectively with the retailers’ economic model
  • Efficiency: highly organised, works at pace to meet agreed timescales, keen eye for attention to detail.
  • Passion: visible enthusiasm for products, brands and retail.
  • Business competency: strong literacy and numeracy skills, proficient user of Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
