Norse Group is one of the largest and most diverse service providers in the UK, offering a variety of commercial, property and care expertise to public and private sector clients. We work in collaboration with a number of joint venture partners to deliver frontline public services, property consultancy and maintain exceptional care home facilities.
We support our service delivery with a range of back office infrastructure teams, including a dedicated Business Change and Development team that undertake multiple projects across the Group. We currently have an opportunity to recruit a Project Support Officer to support the implementation of a new software system across the business.
Your role will be supporting the rollout of a full business purchasing and approval platform, undertaking a range of tasks including;
Working in partnerships with our procurement, finance and project team to ensure process compliance, policy and usage through the P2P rollout
Managing the commercial expectations of internal stakeholders and the service provider
Identifying, analysing and resolving potential process breaches in the whole P2P procedure
Communicating effectively across the Group to ensure data capture and analysis is recorded accurately
Term of Employment:
This is a full time position, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday. The role is an initial 12 month fixed term contract, with the view to offering a full time position depending on performance, budget and project pipeline.
Our Successful Candidate:
Experience in a business support or previous project role
Knowledge of commercial transactions, purchasing or payment systems would be an advantage
Confident with a range of Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel and Outlook
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with all levels of the business
A* - C Grade (New Grading Structure 5 or above) Maths & English Language GCSE
Ability to effectively manage your own workload in a deadline driven environment
