As a Warehouse Operative the role involves supporting the day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring customer orders are picked, packed and prepared accurately and efficiently.

Key responsibilities:

Picking and packing customer orders accurately using order sheets or handheld scanners.
Loading and unloading deliveries from incoming vehicles.
Checking stock levels and ensuring products are stored in the correct locations.
Preparing orders for dispatch and ensuring they are ready for delivery.
Handling food products carefully and following food hygiene and health and safety procedures.
Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and organised.
Working as part of a team to meet daily targets and delivery deadlines.
Reporting damaged, missing or incorrect stock to supervisors.
Rotating stock and checking product dates to maintain quality and reduce waste.
Following company procedures to ensure orders are completed to a high standard.
