Key Responsibilities

Our Wedding Manager will:

• Manage weddings from initial enquiry through to the big day, delivering exceptional experiences at every stage
• Build strong relationships with couples, understanding their vision and ensuring every detail exceeds expectations
• Conduct show rounds and consultations, showcasing Lainston House as a premier wedding destination
• Coordinate with operational departments including Food & Beverage, Kitchen, Housekeeping and Reception to ensure seamless event delivery
• Prepare wedding proposals, contracts and event documentation with accuracy and attention to detail
• Monitor wedding enquiries, conversion rates and revenue opportunities to support business targets
• Act as the main point of contact for couples and suppliers, ensuring clear communication throughout the planning journey
• Maintain exceptional service standards while ensuring every wedding reflects the luxury and quality associated with Lainston House

Person Specification

You'll be an experienced and guest-focused Wedding Manager who takes pride in creating unforgettable celebrations and delivering exceptional service at every stage of the wedding journey. With a passion for building memorable experiences and an eye for every detail, you'll ensure each couple's vision is brought to life for them and their guests. Our Wedding Manager will:

• Previous experience managing weddings or events within a luxury hotel, venue or hospitality environment
• Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple weddings and events simultaneously
• Strong communication and relationship-building abilities, with a passion for customer service
• Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Commercial awareness with a focus on maximising conversion and revenue opportunities
• Passionate about creating unforgettable experiences and delivering outstanding hospitality
