Pinnacle Group are looking for an experienced Technical Operations Manager to join our Homes Division. Reporting to the Head of Technical Services, the postholder will shape and lead a team of Technical Managers and Compliance Coordinators responsible for delivering statutory and mandatory maintenance, planned preventive maintenance and associated remedial activity across a diverse residential portfolio. Working closely with the Technical Mobilisation Manager and the Reactive Repairs and Lifecycle Manager, the role will ensure effective operational handovers, align priorities and coordinate delivery across mobilisation, business-as-usual maintenance, reactive repairs and lifecycle investment. The role will provide strong operational control, technical assurance and visible leadership, ensuring competent contractors, robust safe systems of work, reliable records and consistently high standards of service.
Our Homes Division delivers trusted housing management services across Affordable, Private Rented and Leasehold properties. We work with local authorities, registered providers and investors to support thriving communities.
The ideal candidate will have strong operational management experience within technical services, property maintenance, building services, facilities management, social housing or a related environment. You will be commercially aware, confident interpreting legislation and technical standards, and experienced in CAFM or asset-management systems, performance reporting and budget management. Strong communication and decision-making skills are essential, with the confidence to provide technical advice, challenge standards and escalate risk. A relevant technical qualification and experience of complex or high-risk residential buildings would be advantageous.
This is a hybrid role with travel to client and operational locations as required.
