Auto Electricians Wanted

Blackburn, BB1 | £16–£19 per hour

Aspired Talent are looking for experienced Auto Electricians for our Client in Blackburn.

Hours: Monday–Thursday, 6:30am–4:30pm
Pay: £16–£19 per hour, depending on experience.

Main responsibilities:

Fit temperature monitoring systems, lighting, power supplies and control units into refrigerated vehicles.

Follow written work instructions, company processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent, compliant installations.

Use tools and equipment safely and effectively.

Conduct basic testing and checks to confirm installed systems operate correctly.

Report any issues or deviations from instructions to the team leader or supervisor.

Maintain a clean, organised work area and follow health and safety guidelines.

Work with other team members to meet production targets and deadlines.

Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards.

Carry out other reasonable duties as requested.

Experience and skills needed:

Previous hands-on experience in auto electrics or similar electrical installation work.

Experience fitting, wiring and testing electrical components.

Confident using hand tools and electrical diagnostic equipment.

Ability to read wiring diagrams and follow technical instructions.

Good understanding of electrical safety and fault diagnosis.

An IMI Level 3 qualification in Auto Electrical Practice or equivalent is advantageous.

Refrigerated vehicle or EV/hybrid experience is beneficial.
