Production Operatives

Key Roles and Responsibilities

As a key member of our team you will:

• Lift and move heavy assembled products.
• Assist with packing products – heavy lifting
• Support holiday cover and sickness on multiple processes.
• Be responsible for own health and safety and others reporting any near misses.
• Undertake any training required to complete the job efficiently and safely.
• Carry out work issued to you ensuring that quality (ISO) is always a priority and delivered in a timely manner
• Assist in mechanical builds and working with electrical elements.
• Complete final quality checks & inspections on products, visually and through measurement.
• Be capable of picking up & carrying out multiple tasks simultaneously
• Support & actively participate in production improvements
• Collaborate positively with all departments
• Contribute to supporting the work of supervisors and management as required
• Work with hand tools and other machinery
• Work independently and within teams
• Support production flow working with the operations manager and supervisors to achieve products on time to the right quality.
• Work with multiple tools such as sewing machines, band saw, pillar drill, electric drills and other machinery.
• Working across multiple processes to support the business.
• Traceability and making sure all products are 100% inspected.
• Supporting the business in multiple environments when work tasks are required.
