What you'll do
The Science Faculty at Nottingham College offers a wide range of subjects in a friendly and supportive environment, with first-class teaching and modern facilities. We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Dental Technology lecturer to join our team.
You will be teaching removable prosthodontics and related modules to students on our Dental Technology degree. Initially the post is for 4 to 6 hours per week on Mondays and Tuesdays, however there may be opportunities to increase these hours further.
A relevant degree or professional qualification and a recognised teaching qualification is required. Shortlisting will be based on how closely your application meets the essential and desirable criteria outlined in the person specification. Please ensure you refer to the attached Role Profile and complete your application accordingly, as these specifications form a key part of the selection process.
Who we're looking for
You will be a GDC registered Dental Technician proficient in the area of removable prosthodontics, and knowledge of digital applications is desirable. You must be able to teach modules up to Level 5.
Our Science Faculty is committed to raising standards of science education across the region and supports students on both academic and vocational pathways. We are seeking an enthusiastic and inspiring educator who brings energy, creativity and a student-centred approach to teaching.
