Salary: £13.45 per hour
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm

We're looking for a reliable and proactive Cleaning Operative to join our team at a prestigious corporate client site in Stevenage.

You'll play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment, carrying out a variety of cleaning duties across the site. From deep cleaning floors and communal areas to operating specialist cleaning equipment, you'll help ensure our high standards are consistently maintained.

What you'll do

• Carry out deep cleaning across floors, corridors, washrooms, lifts, stairwells, changing rooms and other designated areas.
• Clean surfaces, doors, walls, skirting boards and high-touch areas to maintain excellent standards.
• Operate specialist cleaning equipment, including outdoor floor-cleaning machinery and indoor ride-on machines, following appropriate training.
• Undertake additional duties such as window cleaning and working at height, where required and subject to appropriate training and authorisation.
• Follow cleaning schedules, health and safety procedures and client requirements.
• Work efficiently, manage daily tasks and minimise disruption to building occupants.
• Report hazards, maintenance issues and any concerns to the relevant team.

Previous cleaning experience would be beneficial, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are just as important.
