Pay: £14.61 per hour
Hours: 36 hours per week
Shift pattern: Monday–Thursday, 06:00–14:30; Friday, 06:00–10:00
Contract: Permanent, full time

Join Sodexo as a Chef at Chivas Brothers, Kilmalid, in Dumbarton. You’ll bring your cooking skills to a busy catering operation, preparing quality food and helping deliver a smooth, efficient service.

If you enjoy a fast-paced kitchen and take pride in every dish, join a team where your experience makes a difference. With weekday working and an early Friday finish, you’ll have your weekends free.

What you’ll do:

• Prepare, cook and present food to consistently high standards.

• Organise preparation and cooking to meet the demands of a high-volume service.

• Work with the catering team to deliver meals efficiently and on time.

• Follow food safety, hygiene and allergen procedures.

• Support stock rotation, portion control and the reduction of food waste.

• Maintain a clean, organised and safe kitchen.

What you’ll bring:

• Experience as a chef, with the ability to handle a busy service.

• A Level 2 Food Safety and Hygiene Certificate.

• A professional cookery qualification, such as an NVQ or VRQ.

• Good organisation and the ability to prioritise under pressure.

• A positive approach to teamwork and a commitment to quality.

• Experience at a large contract catering site would be an advantage.
