Location: THE PIG-near Bath, Pensford, BS39 4NS

Salary: £38,400 - £42,500 per annum, (OTE £44,000 - £48,100 per annum)

Hours: 45 hours per week, including weekends

This is far more than a Reception or Rooms Division role. As House Manager, you'll be the operational heartbeat of the hotel, taking ownership of the guest journey from arrival to departure and ensuring every department works seamlessly together to deliver the warm, relaxed hospitality we're known for.

What You'll Be Doing

As a senior operational leader, you'll oversee the day-to-day running of the hotel, overseeing exclusive uses and private events, supporting and inspiring teams across:

• Reception
• Housekeeping
• Treatments
• Grounds & Maintenance
• Night Team

You'll be the go-to person for both guests and team members, confidently handling everything from guest requests and service recovery to operational decision-making and Duty Manager responsibilities.

Working closely with the Hotel Director and Deputy General Manager, you'll help drive guest satisfaction, team engagement, operational excellence, and commercial performance across the property.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking an experienced hospitality professional who thrives in a hands-on environment and loves being where the action is.

You'll bring:

• Management experience within hotels, rooms division, front office or guest services.
• A natural ability to lead, motivate and develop teams.
• Strong operational knowledge and excellent attention to detail.
• Confidence managing guest relations and solving problems under pressure.
• Experience with OPERA or Fidelio systems (desirable).
• A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
