Bathroom Fitter
Salary: Up to £38,600 per annum
Location: Sandy, Milton Keynes, Bedford, Hatfield & surrounding areas
Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 4:30pm
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Company Vehicle: Van provided
Paragon is working with a well-established and reputable property services contractor who are looking to recruit an experienced Bathroom Fitter to join their planned maintenance team carrying out bathroom installations and associated works within occupied and void social housing properties.
The Role
As a Bathroom Fitter, you will be responsible for completing full bathroom installations from start to finish, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a consistently high standard.
You will work within customers' homes as well as empty properties, so a professional approach, good communication skills and attention to detail are essential.
Key Responsibilities
-Complete full bathroom installations within social housing properties.
-Carry out all associated plumbing works.
-Install sanitary ware, fixtures and fittings.
-Complete basic ceramic wall tiling.
-Carry out making-good works following installations.
-Undertake basic decorating and finishing works where required.
-Assess properties and identify any issues before starting work.
-Ensure installations are completed efficiently and within agreed timescales.
-Maintain a clean, tidy and professional working environment.
-Communicate professionally with residents and customers.
-Provide excellent customer service throughout each installation.
-Work in accordance with all relevant health and safety requirements.
About You
-We are looking for an experienced Bathroom Fitter who can confidently complete installations and associated works independently.
You should have:
-Proven experience fitting bathrooms within domestic properties.
-Strong plumbing skills.
-Experience with basic ceramic wall tiling.
-Basic decorating and making-good skills.
-The ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
-A professional approach when working in customers' homes.
-Good communication and customer service skills.
-A full UK driving license with no more than 6 points.
Qualifications & Experience
-Applications are welcomed from candidates who have either:
-A recognised trade apprenticeship;
-NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in a relevant trade; or
-A proven track record and demonstrable experience completing bathroom installations to a professional standard.
