We have an exciting opportunity for a Regional QHSE Manager to lead Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental performance across our Hestia South and FMSP contracts.

This role offers the chance to build on your experience, broaden your impact and help shape how we deliver safe, compliant services across multiple sites. You’ll work closely with operational teams and clients, putting improvements into practice and seeing the difference your work makes.

Reporting to the Contract Director, you’ll provide practical guidance, support colleagues’ development and drive improvements in safety, food safety, quality and environmental performance. What you’ll do

• Lead and improve the Integrated Management System, ensuring compliance with legislation, ISO standards, Sodexo policies and contractual requirements.
• Provide practical advice on health and safety, food safety, environmental compliance and risk management.
• Work with managers to strengthen risk assessments, safe systems of work and accident prevention.
• Manage the contract audit programme, ensuring sites are audited every six months and actions are completed on time.
• Support food safety standards that maintain Environmental Health inspection ratings of at least four stars.
• Lead accident and incident investigations, identifying lessons and improvements to reduce risk.
• Use performance data to produce monthly reports and make recommendations at management reviews.
• Drive improvements in waste management, recycling and environmental awareness.
• Work with Learning and Development colleagues to strengthen safety knowledge across operational teams.
• Build effective relationships with clients, subcontractors and external auditors.
• Coach and support the Safety Advisor through a structured development programme.

What you’ll bring

• Comprehensive experience of managing safety in a similar operational environment.
• A NEBOSH Level 3 qualification.
• A Level 4 Food Safety qualification, or the ability to achieve this within six months.
• Strong communication and influencing skills, with proven client relationship experience.
• The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• A track record of delivering continuous improvement.
• The ability to travel frequently to sites across the region.

Experience of managing an integrated management system, Chartered Membership of IOSH (CMIOSH), and a background in soft facilities management safety would be advantageous.
