McCarthy & Stone are recruiting a professional Relief Care Supervisor to join our team at our prestigious Roslyn Court developmentin Chalfont St Peter

Hourly rate: £16.38 per hour day shifts and £12.24 per hour SLEEPING night shifts. Plus earn an additional £1 per hour for every hour worked from midnight Friday, to midnight Sunday.

Hours: To cover shifts on an 'as and when' basis when required, to be discussed with the development Manager.

You will be working a mix of shifts which will include the below:

Day shifts: 08:45 and 16:30
Lates which includes a sleep-in: 16:15 to 09:00 including a Sleep In from 22:30 to 7:00

During the Sleep In, our Care Supervisors are on call to provide emergency support only to our homeowners throughout that period. 

There is a requirement to work alternate weekends in this role.

About you:

• You will live within easy commuting distance of our estate.
• You will be a warm, friendly, organised, and self-motivated individual with experience of working in a care or support environment and excellent care skills.
• You will want to work in the Health and Social care sector and preferably have a QCF Health and Social Care (Adults) Level 3 qualification, although consideration will be given to a candidate with alternative qualifications and relevant experience.
• Keen to take on the responsibility of managing the security of the development, looking after the safety and wellbeing of the homeowners, and overseeing the Care and Support teams.
• Able to co-ordinate and facilitate activities that help strengthen the community spirit within the development.
• Driven to continue to grow their skills and will want to lead by example and think on their feet.
• Able to make a difference to the wellbeing and happiness of older people.
