Key Responsibilities

Our Demi Chef de Partie will:

• Support the day-to-day running of a designated kitchen section under the guidance of senior chefs
• Prepare and present dishes to the highest standards of quality and consistency
• Assist with mise en place, service and daily kitchen operations
• Maintain excellent food safety, hygiene and allergen compliance standards
• Support stock control, stock rotation and the minimisation of food waste
• Work closely with the wider brigade to deliver smooth and efficient service
• Assist in coaching and supporting Commis Chefs and new team members
• Take pride in the cleanliness, organisation and maintenance of your section
• Contribute ideas and enthusiasm to continually enhance the guest dining experience

Person Specification

You'll be a passionate and motivated Demi Chef de Partie with a strong desire to learn, develop and progress your culinary career. You'll bring:

• Previous experience as a Commis Chef, Demi Chef de Partie or within a similar quality-led kitchen environment
• A solid foundation of culinary skills and kitchen operations
• A genuine passion for food, seasonal ingredients and exceptional hospitality
• Good understanding of food safety, hygiene and allergen management
• The ability to remain organised, calm and focused during busy service periods
• Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering consistently high standards
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn from experienced chefs
• Ambition to continue developing your career within a supportive and professional kitchen
