Key Responsibilities

Our Junior Sous Chef will:

• Support the Head Chef and senior kitchen team in the day-to-day running of The Latymer kitchen
• Lead a section and ensure the consistent delivery of exceptional dishes to Michelin-star standards
• Maintain the highest standards of food preparation, presentation and cleanliness
• Support and guide junior chefs, encouraging development, consistency and attention to detail
• Ensure compliance with all food safety, hygiene and COSHH regulations
• Assist with stock control, ordering and minimising waste
• Contribute ideas to menu development and seasonal dishes
• Deliver calm, organised and efficient service within a high-performance fine dining environment

Person Specification

You'll be a talented and ambitious Junior Sous Chef with experience working in high-quality kitchens and a passion for delivering exceptional food in a fine dining environment. You’ll bring:

• Previous experience as a Junior Sous Chef, Senior Chef de Partie or Chef de Partie within a quality fine dining or luxury hospitality kitchen with experience working at Michelin star or multi rosette level.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene and kitchen standards
• Passion for exceptional ingredients, technical excellence and high-quality food
• Good leadership skills with the ability to support, motivate and develop others
• Calm under pressure with excellent organisational and communication skills
• A willingness to learn, grow and progress within a Michelin-starred environment
