We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Chef de Rang to join the team at George, one of London’s most prestigious private members’ clubs and part of The Birley Clubs.

George is a contemporary private members’ club in the heart of Mayfair. Set across two levels, the Club features a stylish ground-floor dining room, where the open kitchen serves classic brasserie dishes prepared with organic and seasonal ingredients, alongside a relaxed downstairs bar - creating an inviting space for Members to dine, drink and socialise.

As a Chef de Rang, you will play an important role in delivering the exceptional level of service for which The Birley Clubs are renowned. You will build strong relationships with our Members, anticipate their needs and ensure every visit is seamless, personal and memorable.

We are ideally looking for candidates who:

• Have previous experience as a Waiter or Chef de Rang within a high-quality restaurant, hotel or private members’ club
• Have a genuine passion for exceptional service, quality products and interesting food and drinks
• Are confident taking and accurately processing both food and beverage orders
• Have excellent knowledge of food and beverage service standards
• Are attentive, proactive and able to anticipate and respond quickly to the needs of our Members
• Have a warm and engaging personality and enjoy building relationships with guests
• Are well-presented, professional and take pride in delivering outstanding service
• Are reliable, organised and able to remain calm and composed in a fast-paced environment
• Are excellent team players with strong communication skills
