Staff for Education are proud to be working in partnership with a brilliant Secondary School in Mansfield and we are currently recruiting for a passionate PE Teacher to join their team starting in November 2026. This is a full time, long-term position that will be until the end of the academic year. This is a great opportunity to work in a brilliant Secondary School that has fantastic facilities and a strong and supportive team of staff.

The Role
As a PE Teacher, you will be responsible for:
• Planning and delivering engaging PE lessons across KS3-KS4 (KS5 experience is desirable but not essential).
• Teaching a range of sports and activities, developing students’ physical skills, fitness, teamwork and understanding of healthy lifestyles.
• Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students are encouraged to participate and achieve.
• Encouraging students to develop confidence, resilience and a lifelong appreciation of physical activity.
• Assessing, monitoring and recording student progress in line with school policies.
• Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of learners with varying abilities.
• Managing classroom and sporting behaviour effectively and promoting high standards of learning.
• Supporting extracurricular sports clubs, fixtures and school events where required.
• Following all school safeguarding, behaviour and health & safety policies.

The ideal candidate will have:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching PE within a UK secondary school.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• A genuine passion for inspiring young people.
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
