Staff for Education are currently recruiting for a caring and enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Southwell on a part time basis starting in November. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children's learning and development and wants to make a positive difference in the classroom.

The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher and wider school team to support pupils with their learning, development, and wellbeing.

The Role
• Supporting the class teacher with the delivery of engaging learning activities
• Providing one-to-one and small-group support to pupils
• Helping pupils develop their reading, writing, maths, and wider curriculum skills
• Supporting pupils who require additional help with their learning
• Creating a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
• Encouraging positive behaviour and good learning habits
• Supporting pupils' social, emotional, and personal development
• Assisting with classroom preparation and organisation
• Working collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, support staff, and parents/carers where appropriate

In order to be considered for the role, you must have:
• A recognised Teaching Assistant Qualification
• Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable
• A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
• A patient, caring, and nurturing approach
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• A flexible and adaptable approach
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND is desirable but not essential
