Pay£18.00 per hour

Hours27.5 hours weeks

Working Pattern Monday to Friday

Shift Times 1.30pm to 7pm

Contract Term Time Only 42 working weeks a year plus holiday

**Equated pay (sometimes known as spread-over pay) is a method of paying you for your contracted hours, working weeks and holiday pay spread over 12 months instead of just receiving pay during the months that you work and none during the school closures/non-working weeks. What You Do:

• Supervise and support a team of cleaners during your shift.
• Take a hands-on approach to the role, carrying out cleaning duties alongside the team as required. Approximately 50% of the role will involve cleaning duties.
• Ensure cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and to agreed standards.
• Carry out cleaning duties and monitor standards across the school site.
• Support the Contract Director with the organisation of cleaning operations.
• Lead team briefings and promote a positive, engaged working environment.
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health and safety, fire safety and COSHH requirements.
• Monitor cleaning equipment, materials and storage areas, ensuring they are maintained to a high standard.
• Report incidents, accidents, damages or concerns promptly and appropriately.
• Help maintain an exceptional environment for pupils, staff and visitors.

What You Bring:

• Previous supervisory or management experience, ideally within cleaning, facilities management or housekeeping.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• A proactive and self-motivated approach.
• The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and people-management skills.
• A commitment to delivering high standards of customer service.
• The ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
• A positive attitude towards learning and continuous development.
