Staff for Education are supporting a fantastic primary school in the Newark area and we are currently recruiting for a KS1 Primary Teacher to work at this school on a full-time, long term basis starting in October 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher who is committed to providing high-quality learning experiences and helping young pupils develop academically, socially, and emotionally.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and the ability to create engaging, inclusive lessons that inspire and motivate pupils. You will work closely with colleagues to ensure all children receive the support and encouragement they need to achieve their full potential.
The Role
• Planning and delivering engaging and creative lessons across the KS1 curriculum
• Creating a positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment
• Supporting pupils’ academic progress and personal development
• Working collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents/carers
• Promoting positive behaviour and encouraging a love of learning
• Monitoring and assessing pupil progress
In order to be considered for the role, you must have:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 1 (ECTs are welcome to apply)
• A strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and early primary development
• Excellent classroom management skills
• A passion for supporting children’s learning and development
• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Have an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one
