Staff for Education are currently recruiting for a friendly, reliable, and responsible Midday Supervisor to join a welcoming primary school in Nottingham. This is a part time position working between 11am and 2pm Monday-Friday, it would be 10 hours per week, starting as soon as possible.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and is looking for a part-time role within a school environment. The successful candidate will help ensure pupils have a safe, positive, and enjoyable lunchtime, supporting them during both meal times and outdoor play.

The Role
• Supervising pupils during lunchtime and outdoor play
• Ensuring children remain safe and follow school behaviour expectations
• Encouraging positive behaviour and respectful interactions between pupils
• Supporting children during meal times where required
• Supervising playground activities and helping to organise games
• Supporting pupils who may require additional assistance
• Responding appropriately to minor incidents and first aid situations in line with school procedures
• Reporting any concerns regarding behaviour, safeguarding, or pupil wellbeing to the appropriate member of staff
• Helping to maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment

The ideal candidate will have:
• Previous experience working with children is desirable
• A caring, patient and approachable manner
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Confidence to supervise groups of pupils effectively
• Ability to remain calm and professional in a busy environment
• Strong understanding of safeguarding and children’s wellbeing
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
