The Transformation and Community Resilience Team sits within the Housing and Transformation Division at the heart of the Council We work with services across the organisation to drive large scale change and establish best practice throughout council services. The Council's Transformation Programme is overseen and supported by our Corporate Leadership Team, ensuring that our work always focuses on the key priorities for our city, having the maximum impact in improving services for the people of Coventry and making best use of the resources available to us.

Our team is made up of Project Professionals, recently trained in APM (Association of Project Management) and we use a range of methodologies including Agile and Waterfall to deliver our programmes and projects. The Community Resilience Service practically delivers change which requires co-production and joint working with the community and voluntary sector and leads the Council’s approach to volunteering, community development and supporting the sector with fundraising.

We enjoy working flexibly, paper-light, with a keen eye for digital solutions and a culture that embraces change and creativity

What is the job role?

This role is all about supporting change projects to improve service delivery and put the customer at the heart of what we do. 

This can involve a variety of different responsibilities including: 

  • undertaking research
  • assisting writing reports and presenting information
  • supporting project planning 
  • building effective relationships with stakeholders
Who are we looking for?

Are you good at working as part of a team and engaging with people? Do you have an understanding of change and transformation? 

We are looking for someone who will confidently work independently. You should have excellent people and organisational skills.
