Our client is seeking an experienced Quality Controller in Telford, Shropshire. If you have a background in QC/QA, experience with BRC and HACCP, and excellent communication skills, this could be the role for you!

Key Requirements:

Experience with quality control in the packaging/food industry
Knowledge of BRC and HACCP (Level 3 minimum)
Internal Auditor qualified
Certified Auditor & BRC trained
Excellent communication skills & computer literate
Key Responsibilities:

Internal auditing to BRC Packaging standards (GMP, hygiene, site audits)
Member of the HACCP team, with relevant experience
Conducting laboratory testing and supplier non-conformance management
Responding to customer queries, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
Daily auditing regime management and attending key operations meetings
Supervising a team of QA Technicians
Supporting ISO 14001 and assisting with internal/external audits (BRC, ISO 9001, Ethical, ISCC)
Collaborating with the NPD Team to drive new business projects
Qualifications:

Experience in the packaging/food industry
HACCP Level 3
BRC trained and Certified Auditor
Salary: £28k - £32k DOE
