As part of our growth strategy, we are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Executive to join our team and drive sales in the solar PV sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, a passion for renewable energy, and a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.

This role will involve building and maintaining relationships with clients, identifying new business opportunities, and providing customised solar solutions to meet our clients' needs.

The applicant should be keen to learn and develop within the Renewable Energy Sector and have a passion for Sales within the SME and Commercial sector.

The purpose of the role is to develop an initial annual sales revenue of a minimum value of £1 million of new business in Year One, this would be derived from own sourced leads in addition to leads organically or website/social media driven.

Main duties:

- Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company sales targets in the renewables sector. Achieve new business sales goals by assessing client needs and following a defined selling process. Manage sales cycle to close new business in all service categories offered.

- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solar solutions. Manage the qualification process of SME, Construction leads and all other types of sales enquiries

- Business Development: Identify new business opportunities and markets within the solar PV sector, including SME, commercial and industrial clients. Self-build a sales pipeline by identifying appropriate prospects.

- Proposal Generation: Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and contracts to clients, ensuring accuracy and alignment with their requirements.

- Product Knowledge: Stay updated on the latest renewables technologies, industry trends, and regulatory requirements to effectively communicate the value proposition of our products and services. Recommend and attend relevant regional and local trade shows.

- Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Track sales activities, maintain accurate records, and provide regular reports on sales performance, including forecasts and pipeline updates to sales director.

- CRM: Input, update and manage sales projects on SalesForce CRM.

- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including design, project and marketing teams, to ensure seamless project delivery and customer satisfaction.

* In particular work closely with the Design team to submit renewable solutions to customers via software platforms PV Sol, Solar Edge, CAD etc.

* Work with the marketing team to ensure EEL has up to date presence on Social Media (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter etc) posting about completed projects.

* Developing and working with EEL’s web company on a strategy and carry out necessary works to generate new Sales Leads in all Sectors (Google Ads, Blogs etc)

Skills and Qualifications:

- Previous commercial solar sales experience is desirable

- Detail orientated

- Effective time manager

- Highly organised and methodical

- Positive “can-do” attitude

- Possess a “professional edge” when dealing with clients

- Ability to work to tight deadlines

- Good written and telephone manner

- Full UK driving licence
