Job Title: Electrical Fitter –permanent full time
Location: Spalding
Salary: £32,000 - £36,000 + overtime, + on call bonus
DC Personnel is representing a business in Spalding, who are looking to grow their Electrical Maintenance team. This role would be suitable for Multi-skilled Engineer and Electrical bias Engineer. In this role you will support our customers by repairing motors, weed screens, industrial pumps, and control panels. As an Electrical Fitter you will carry out electrical tasks that include disconnection and reconnection of motors and pumps, fault finding, wiring of weed screen cleaners and other duties that come along with this type of role. This role will require 1 in every 4 weeks to be on-call, however there are great incentive for this in place and all engineers are working in pairs of 2 for support on this.
Benefits for an Electrical Fitter:
• £32,000- £36,000
• Overtime paid at time and half until Saturdays, Double on Sundays
• On call £15 pounds per day + paid for the job if required to attend
• Monday- Thursday 7:30-16:00 Friday - 7:30-15:00

Responsibilities for an Electrical Fitter:
• You will be repairing and wiring of industrial pumps, motors, gearboxes and weed screens.
• You will need to be able to communicate effectively in a timely manner and any defects found must be reported to your supervisor
• Guarantee equipment is inspected, serviced and commissioned
• The role will involve working both in workshop and on customers’ sites, identifying faults, carrying out repairs & removing and installation of equipment as required
• Provide reports for any equipment overhauled both on site and in the workshop.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
• Electrical experience (ideally with motors and control panels)
• Experience in stripping down mechanical assemblies into component parts, and rebuilding using best industry practices is essential.
• You must be practically minded and be able to solve mechanical problems.
• Time served Mechanical and/or Electrical
• You must be flexible & be prepared to work outside of normal hours as our work often involves servicing urgent breakdowns with overtime necessary in the evenings and at weekends.
• Able to speak, read and write fluently in the English Language
• Must hold a full driving license
