Are you passionate about supporting business growth and ensuring a positive work environment? We're looking for a dedicated Employee Relations Advisor to join our dynamic team and make a significant impact across our nationwide stores, logistics, and head office functions.

As an Employee Relations Advisor, you'll be responsible for assessing risks to both the business and colleagues, offering expert advice and guidance to management. You'll play a crucial role in absence management, disciplinary and grievance issues, and drive departmental advancements through impactful projects.

Package

 

  • £33,000 per annum
  • Based at our Liverpool Head Office
  • 28 days paid holiday per annum, rising to 33 days upon 5 years’ service (inclusive of bank holidays)

Job Overview
  • Coach managers whilst providing relevant advice and guidance via telephone, email, and face-to-face meetings.
  • Collaborate with senior management on Early Conciliation and Employment Tribunal cases.
  • Maintain positive relationships whilst offering advice and guidance in line with company policy, employment law, and best practice.
  • Provide effective input and results on project work, statistics and reports, and creation of training materials.
  • Review and update company policies regularly in accordance with legislative changes and company requirements.
  • Deliver face-to-face training or presentations.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the department.
  • Keep up to date with employment legislation and guidance.
Minimum Criteria To Apply
  • Experience of working in an Employee Relations Advisor role.
  • CIPD qualified, or working towards CIPD qualifications in Human Resource Management
  • Have a professional approach and are appropriately responsive and supportive, whilst adopting a practical style.
  • Commercially aware and understand business needs.
  • A thorough knowledge of GDPR regulations with a full understanding of confidentiality relating to the sensitive information you work with.
