Vacancy Information

We have an exciting opportunity for a Power Platform Lead to join our Power Platform team here at Greggs. We specialise in delivering cutting edge solutions to streamline business processes and empower our teams to achieve their goals efficiently. As Power Platform Lead you will play a pivotal role in solution design, development and deployment of our solutions in Greggs. You will lead a team of developers and collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand requirements, architect solutions and deliver high quality products that leverage the full capabilities of the Power Platform. 

The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse and extending to third-party systems. As well as building and implementing Power Platform solutions you will drive our maturity model to continually improve our SDLC. You will have a strong understanding of configuring the Power Platform Admin Centre and have experience implementing environment strategy, ALM, DLP and licensing. You will work with Business Area leads to understand their needs and communicate the benefits of replacing manual systems, such as risk reduction and better visibility and integration of data. What you'll do
  • Leading the Power Platform back-end admin centre activities and assigning security roles and privileges across each of our environments. 
  • Extending our governance strategy and leveraging our Centre of Excellence and using the data provided to keep the platform efficient and clean. 
  • Work closely with Business Area leads to deliver Power Platform-based solutions. 
  • Architect scalable and maintainable solutions that align with our best practices and industry standards. 
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the developers in our team. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Power Platform solutions with existing systems and technologies. 
  • Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards and quality guidelines. 
  • Stay current with the latest updates and features of the Power Platform ecosystem and recommend best practices for implementation.  
  • Building Power Apps (Canvas, Model-Driven using both SharePoint and Dataverse) and making use of the full Microsoft Power Platform to deliver a production ready business application. 
  • Efficiently communicate to customers and colleagues the advantages of the Power Platform, specifically Power Apps. 
  • Ensure correct documentation of delivered solution is provided where required. 

Skills Required 

  • Strong communication skills both with customers and internal teams. 
  • Great understanding of Microsoft's Power Platform, specifically Canvas Power Apps and Power Automate. 
  • Strong understanding of SDLC and implementing ALM in the Power Platform. 
  • Demonstrable experience with build pipelines. 
  • Demonstrable ability to produce Power Apps projects that resolve specific business problems. 
  • Demonstrable understanding of where Power Apps and Power Automate can be used to offer efficient solutions and drive productivity in the business applications produced. 
  • Attention to detail and ability to break down complexities to manageable and actionable tasks. 
  • Good experience working with customers from early requirements gathering through to deployment.
