Senior Salmon are operating as a recruitment agency and due to retirement, my client is looking to recruit a Mechanical Fitter to join their team in Nottingham on a temp to perm basis

Duties will include:

• Assembly of winding machines from initial stages of build through to completion.
• Mechanical, Pneumatic and Hydraulic assembly of sub-components and optional units.
• Fabrication of small assemblies and guards as required.
• Requisitioning of stock components from stores.
• Ensure shop floor processes and systems are followed.
• Ensure work area is clean and tidy and free from any obstacles.
• Adhere to all legal and legislative obligations, such as Health & Safety as set by governing bodies.

Required Skills:

• Previous experience of machine building desirable.
• Must have experience of mechanical/ hydraulic assembly.
• Must have the ability to read engineering drawings.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Working hours -

Permanent Days, 7:45am - 4:15pm (3:15pm on Fridays), Monday - Friday.

Salary - £13.58ph
