Job Title:                           Finance Business Partner

Overview

Rodericks Dental Partners is a dental corporate with over 220 dental practices in England & Wales.   We provide excellent NHS and private dental care to thousands of patients every week.  

 

We are looking for a Finance Business Partner to join the Commercial Finance Team and deliver effective partnering to specific areas of the business. Reporting to the Senior Finance Business Partner the role also has regular exposure to the Director of Commercial Finance and the CFO as well as senior managers from Operations and Support functions.

 You will need to have excellent attention to detail and be able to work under pressure in a fast moving environment.

Key Responsibility Areas

  • Deliver effective Business Partnering to specific areas of the business whilst providing commercial support and challenge that drives financial performance
  • Responsibility for the reviewing commercial performance
  • Support business planning by providing financial analysis and modelling
  • Identify and measure key success drivers
  • Providing finance and business support to operational staff
  • Support decision making with data and insight
  • Responsible for providing accurate and timely finance information
  • Input into the monthly business performance pack
  • Work with non - finance managers to drive the budgeting process
  • Financial support for central projects and initiatives, including the production and circulation of accurate MI
  • Contributing to ad hoc financial projects as required as part of the overall finance function

The Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Attention to detail
  • Used to working in a cross-functional environment
  • Highly confidential, expected to only share commercial information with appropriate stakeholders
  • Systems essential experience (Excel advanced, Word)
  • System desirable experience (Adaptive insights, Microsoft BI)
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Strong commercial acumen, willing and able to challenge accepted practices and processes
  • Outstanding track record in influencing decision making within a business and improving performance with substantial positive profit impact
  • Substantial analytical skills able to understand complex performance issues and advise and able to prioritise action plans to resolve
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills for managing senior level relationships and difficult performance management conversations
