Science Services Supervisor (Cleaning)

As a Science Services Supervisor, you'll be instrumental in supporting the Scientific Service Lead in overseeing day-to-day housekeeping and laboratory cleaning activities. This includes ensuring strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and upholding impeccable quality standards. You'll also take charge of supervising a team of operatives, focusing on enhancing performance, behaviour, and overall engagement to consistently deliver exceptional service.
Furthermore, you'll be responsible for maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations, thereby fostering a safe and conducive working environment for all personnel. Additionally, you'll play a key role in the recruitment, training, and development of team members, nurturing a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth within the team.

About You
Experience and knowledge requirement for this role:
- Demonstrated leadership experience or aspirations, evidenced by a track record of managing teams in a service-oriented environment.
- Possesses strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective engagement with clients and team members.
- Exhibits resilience and adaptability, demonstrating a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
- Comfortable with computer literacy, proficient in using digital tools and platforms for communication and management.
- Embraces a customer-focused mindset, with prior experience in customer service or client-facing roles.
- Preferably candidate with leadership skills, resilient, and HR experience with people management as well.
