Show us your strengths! Can you at your best, help us bring our best?

We are excited to announce a new vacancy to join the Learning & Organisational Development Team at Platform Housing Group. We are looking for a 12-month fixed term LOD Business Partner so let’s be upfront about why.

We have several key essential projects which we are supporting, as well as objectives to help deliver our Colleague Strategy and a cultural transformation on the go, so we need to expand the L&OD Business Partnering Team. We need inspirational people to help us set colleagues, teams, and the organisation up for success.

So, what are we looking for?

This role is key to us developing and influencing the colleague experience. Understanding the significance of values and behaviours is a given with this role – we want you to help us make sure these are never just a poster on the wall.

If you want to be a part of an inventive, strategic, and tactical learning and organisational development team, we would love to hear from you. Think outcomes and impacts. Think ideas, insights, and solutions for defined business benefits.

Some things that we need from you:

That you care enough to be curious – you ask the questions that need to be asked and have the courage to hold a mirror up to the organisation when diagnosing solutions. Be Brave is one of our values!

That you will have a passion for performance – understanding how to harness and stretch it at the team and individual level.

That you will be comfortable with being uncomfortable – stepping into conversations that you haven’t had before.

That you see inspiring and influencing leaders and managers as a key part of your personal toolkit.

While this role is home based, you should have the ability to travel to Group offices and other locations as required. Our Group offices are located at Birmingham Business Park and Central Park, Worcester. Any required travel will be reimbursed in line with the current inland revenue mileage rates.

Some of our great benefits include:

Up to 28 days annual leave (plus bank holidays) with the opportunity to buy and sell leave

Family friendly policies, flexible working, and ability to work from home in most roles

Medicash membership for all employees which includes access to an employee assistance programme, discounted gym membership and exclusive discounts

Non- contributory health & wellbeing plans with cashback for dental, optical, physio and complementary therapies

Pension contribution scheme with employer contributions of up to 12% (inclusive of life assurance and dependent on employee contributions)

Learning and Development opportunities

Salary sacrifice electric vehicle and Cycle to Work scheme

Employee reward and recognition scheme with wellbeing hub and discount from a wide range of retailers

Interested?

You’ll be joining us as we are releasing a mid-term review of our strategies with our L&D Strategy being incorporated into our Colleague Strategy– if you are excited about shaping how our people will drive the journey whilst making your mark in learning and organisational development, now’s the time to do it and we’re the place to support you to make that happen.

So, if you’re a passionate and agile deliverer of learning and organisational development solutions, you really should think about applying and if you have a specialist subject within the L&OD fields, fantastic, let us know about it.
