Deputy General Services Manager 
Location: Tutbury, Derby
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 & range of excellent employee benefits
Onsite – Monday-Friday

Sodexo has a great opportunity for an experienced General Services Manager to join our established team working with our clients based in Derby.

Joining our team at their large site in Tutbury, you will coordinate and control the security team and support any gaps where appropriate and support waste and coordinate collation of data provided.

The Deputy General Services Manager will assist the management with the day-to-day service of the site and drive innovation and continuous improvement of people, systems & processes as well as support the General Services Manager in the development of business strategy in line with current and emerging client needs.

You will become a recognised people manager within the business and respected waste site lead within the Facilities Management group and ensure that the site is statutory, mandatory, and contractually compliant, always including site specific health and safety and welfare policies for waste service delivered is within scope, and robust & rigorous means of recording are maintained and regularly reviewed, gaps identified and escalated through to resolution.

About You 
Experience and knowledge requirement for this role: 
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely to client on an ongoing basis.
  • Well organised with the ability to prioritise work tasks.
  • Able to understand and manage customer requirements and expectations.
  • High level of commitment, the ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
Qualifications required:
  • Forklift truck license (preferable)
