Within Anglian Water, we collaborate with several alliance partners to provide the best water and water recycling services across the region by maintaining our existing assets and undertaking new projects to safeguard future water supplies.
Playing a key part in our drive to bring environmental and social prosperity to the region we serve through our commitment to Love Every Drop is our Integrated Operational Solutions (IOS) Alliance. Comprising of Anglian Water, Morrison Utility Services, Barhale and Kier, the IOS Alliance work together to concentrate on solutions across the water recycling and clean water asset base, typically totalling £50-60m per year.
The IOS alliance works across multiple disciplines including Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation and Control. Incorporating new construction, replacement, or repair, spanning the entirety of the Anglian Waters asset base.
To ensure water and water recycling projects in the Northampton area are managed successfully from inception to completion, ensuring all required standards, regulations, commercial affordability targets and time frames are met, we are looking for a Graduate Planner to join the team.
What you will be doing as our new Graduate Planner?
As our new Graduate Planner, you’ll work under the direct guidance of an experienced Planner in an integrated project delivery team and gain experience in developing and maintaining accurate and robust project plans. Working cross-functionally, you’ll learn to take ownership of the project plan, drive the project team to deliver the plan and challenge any delay and deviation.
With an established training programme geared towards you becoming a Senior Planner, you’ll succeed in this role by being enthusiastic, visible, and eager to learn and make a difference!

To join us and develop your career in Planning you’ll be currently studying for or have completed a degree level (or equivalent) qualification in an Engineering/ Management/ Construction discipline and have a desire to pursue a career in a Project-based role.
With excellent IT and good digital skills, an inquisitive and logical mind you will be open to and communicate with a wide range of audiences. Being a pro-active team member, having strong organisational skills and being able to prioritise will underpin your drive to learn, develop and make a positive impact.
