We are looking for a confident Night Manager (RMN/RNLD) who can inspire, support and oversee the delivery of the very best care within our CAMHS services onsite at Cygnet Hospital Bury.

You will be working full time 37.5 hours a week (Night Shifts only) at Cygnet Hospital Bury

Your day-to-day…

  • To have overall management of the night team across site and assist with other
    nurse related hospital functions.
  • Provide a summary report at the end of each shift to the Senior Management
    team
  • Work in liaison with the Ward Managers and CSM’s to ensure that staffing is
    deployed across site in a way that provides good quality effective and safe care
  • To direct, monitor and support care and treatment of patients through in practice
    audit and quality monitoring and participating/undertaking audits as required.
  • Co-ordinate the Hospital to ensure that tasks are prioritised and undertaken in a timely efficient manner
  • Provide consistent leadership and empower staff to feel able to cope in times of
    difficulty. Develop a culture whereby staff know how to communicate distress and
    concern and are communicated with each other in an appropriate and supportive
    manner.

You…

An experienced RMN or RNLD with a current Pin Number, you’ll have…

Essential:

  • At least 12 months’ experience in a similar setting
  • The ability to maintain documentation, undertake audits & demonstrate integrity in your role
  • A good understanding of the latest nursing practices
  • A commitment to patient recovery in order to effectively monitor, manage & reduce risk
  • Compassion, resilience & a dedication to empower & support service user independence
