Farmfoods are a frozen food specialist with roots embedded in the distribution and handling of frozen food. This is a position with plenty of opportunity for progression and could be your start in a career in IT. You will assist the team on several tasks and get involved in several different projects. The role will be hands on and fast paced as you work to provide a service to our teams across the business.

Farmfoods are looking for someone with a passion for IT, a willingness to learn and who is not afraid of getting stuck in and working hard.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing a timely, friendly, reliable service to all IT users within the company
  • Logging, monitoring and dispatching helpdesk requests
  • Ensuring that requests are effectively captured and allocated to the appropriate priority levels
  • Undertaking first line support for IT users by phone, email, face to face and remotely
  • Taking ownership of support request and managing through to completion
  • Investigating reported issues in detail, gaining evidence and escalating when necessary to meet SLA's
  • Hardware and network equipment deployment, installation and maintenance  
  • Software deployment, upgrades, database maintenance, intranet management
  • Troubleshooting, monitoring and maintaining systems, printers and networks
  • User account creation and management

  • An interest in IT

Salary:

£18,000 - £18,500 per annum

Working week:

40 hours per week, shifts of either 7am - 4pm, 8am - 6pm or 9am - 6pm
