Situated on the beautiful Moray Coast in the North of Scotland, Gordonstoun is widely recognised as the world leader in character education. We run a prestigious and well-established Summer School (GISS) for children aged 8-16 from approximately 40 nationalities. Each year we create a vibrant international community where our staff play a critical role in creating a happy and formative summer experience for our students.   

This summer we are chartering Pelican of London, Brian Boru and Spirit of Falmouth to run a series of 3-night trips on the West Coast of Scotland for senior students aged 12-16. GISS are looking to recruit staff to work onboard in a pastoral capacity, to supervise and support the wellbeing of the students. We are looking for excellent youth work skills, experience of working with young people in a residential setting and preferably some experience of sailing and living onboard sailing vessels.

Summer School operates two courses and the West Coast sailing staff are required for the following dates. 

Mon 1st July – Thurs 1 August

OR

Thursday 25 July to Thurs 1 August

Residential position with full board.  Competitive Salary.
