Due to the expansion of our Domiciliary Care Service, we have an exciting new role for a Recruitment Manager to oversee our company recruitment.   

Working closely with the hiring manager, internal stakeholders and the HR team, they will oversee all recruitment activities and requirements to deliver contracts as per the agreed implementation plan. They will understand the resourcing needs and advise on routes and methods to source qualified and suitable candidates. The role will involve travelling throughout Wales and the South of England.

Main Responsibilities
  • Work with internal stakeholders along with the Operations Directors/Registered Managers and Account Managers to understand and identify current and future requirements in line with business development, staff turnover and business plans
  • Oversee 360 recruitment from advertising to onboarding
  • Identify candidate sourcing routes, inc. referral programmes, ensuring Abicare remains competitive within the recruitment market
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external recruitment sources e.g. agencies
  • Proactively use LinkedIn Recruiter to support direct resourcing
  • Work on a variety of recruitment projects and initiatives, oversee open days and assessment days
  • In liaison with the Marketing team identify advertising and promotional opportunities via: 

             Articles/publications/digital media

             Events, recruitment fairs, partnerships, university fairs and partnerships

  • In liaison with the hiring manager/accounts manager identify the recruitment requirements and sourcing/interview process to be followed, based on the role and requirements, ensuring an objective process is followed.
  • In liaison with hiring managers prepare job descriptions, draft interview questions and assessments (appropriate for the requirement)
  • Use the internal recruitment portal ATS, to advertise new roles and track applications
  • Reviewing metrics to improve the recruitment process including quality of hire, time to offer and direct hire rate
  • To keep up to date with the minimum regulatory requirements (Care Quality Commission, NHS, Govt legislation etc) during the recruitment process. To ensure systems and processes are compliant
  • Working on Employee Value Propositions and best practices to attract talent
  • To undertake any other duties commensurate with the purpose and remit of the post

 

The Ideal Candidate

Must have:

  • Proven track record of delivering recruitment projects in a complex, fast-paced environment

  • Previous experience in a similar Talent Acquisition / In-house Recruiter role

  • Experience in the Health & Social Care sector would be beneficial

  • Experience in working within an HR environment is an advantage

  • Experience using a variety of recruitment tools - job boards, LinkedIn Pro, social media etc

  • Bring a passion for diversity and inclusion throughout our hiring process ensuring our sourcing strategy underpins this

  • Excellent organisational skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including IT literacy

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

  • Excellent presentation skills

  • Strong communicator at all levels; verbal and written to build and maintain internal and external relationships

  • Ability to see the bigger picture and proactively react to changing business requirements

  • Full UK driving licence and a car
  • Willingness to travel throughout Wales and the South of England
