What you'll be doing

  • Lead and manage a team of coordinators to deliver efficient and effective metering/utility infrastructure projects.
  • Ensuring the service level agreements are achieved and maintained through effective management of workload and resources.
  • Liaising with Customers, Suppliers and Installers to ensure a seamless project life-cycle process.
  • Monitor progress and resource allocation to ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Weekly/Monthly reporting, in accordance with SLA’s
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to streamline planning processes.
  • Developing relationships with existing and new customers and service providers
  • Managing resource conflicts.
  • Monitoring and managing the performance and development of the team
  • Monitoring and managing the quality outputs of the team in relation to customer interaction
  • Managing the delivery process to ensure all aspects of planning are delivered on time, within budget
  • Ensuring key customer contact points (within the process) are maintained (and documented) to ensure the required level of customer service is being delivered
  • Establishing effective working relationships with supply chain partners and manage the relationship to ensure mutual commercial gain

Who you are

To be considered for this position you will have at least one to two year’s previous experience managing a team, ideally within a multi utility business, you will need to be an excellent communicator and have the ability to work on your own initiative to support and drive the team to achieve company targets.

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience in a leadership role within the utilities industry, with a focus on planning and coordination.
  • Sound knowledge of utility installation processes.
  • Experience in preparing and managing quotations for utility projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve project objectives.
  • A proactive and results-driven approach to work.
