We are looking to appoint a Business Support Assistant on a 22 hour (pro rata) fixed term contract for 12 months, based in central Stafford. 

This role will work within the Fostering Service Business Support team.

The working days for this role are Wednesday, Thursday & Friday.

Main Responsibilities
  • In support of Social Workers statutory workload, convene and attend meetings including statutory multi agency meetings, coordinating the circulation of agendas and relevant papers, taking, and distributing appropriate notes and actions.
  • Produce a range of high-quality documents.To provide support advice and guidance to district-based practitioners in the use of IT and related software.
The Ideal Candidate

GCSE English or equivalent and an ICT qualification are essential for this position.

Two years office experience and experience of using a computer-based information system are also desirable as well as experience of minute taking and experience of working within a team.

Good written and oral communication skills, an ability to undertake a number of areas of work, an ability to interpret, format and accurately present information, time management skills and experience of working to deadlines are also all desirable.
