Reporting into the Asset & Procurement Manager, you will help effectively manage the availability and disposal of our asset fleet, ensuring the correct and timely removal of company assets in accordance with our current procedures. You’ll do this by managing and maintaining accurate records of all additions and deletions to our fleet on the asset register which will require good attention to detail and accuracy. 

Building relationships both internally and externally is an essential aspect of the role as you will play a key part in maintaining these throughout the wider business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the timely addition and deletion of all company assets ensuring availability
  • Issuing the correct e code numbers to the Branch network as and when required as part of the Asset team
  • Assisting the Branch network with any queries relating to the Asset Control function
  • Supporting the processing of company stock takes (including stock check requirements on a rolling basis)
  • Creating database documentation including data reports, procedures and data definitions
  • Managing parameters to provide fast query responses to front end users
  • To create database documentation including data reports, procedures and data definitions
  • Any other ad hoc supportive duties as required by the department

  • Experience in an administrative function
  • Comfortable working at pace and with change
  • Excellent and proven attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience using internal systems and databases
  • PC Skills, Knowledge of Word, Excel
  • Commitment to continual improvement
  • Ability to build effective working relationships at all levels
  • Tool hire industry experience - Desirable
