Grateley House School is a residential school for young people aged 9-19 years, who have a diagnosis of Autism or have strong emotional / behavioural traits of the Autistic Spectrum, typically high functioning Autism (Asperger Syndrome). The school can support young people with other associated difficulties such as ADHD, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia.

Job Profile

We are looking for an enthusiastic cleaner to join our existing team of highly motivated, proactive professional cleaners. You will be part of a team that ensures the highest standards of cleanliness and general hygiene of the school premises.

Duties will include:

Deep cleaning of classrooms
Hoovering
Dusting
Cleaning toilets

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have a positive outlook and be able to follow instructions. Previous cleaning experience would be preferred, however full training will be given. The candidate will need to be highly self-motivated and confident working in certain areas of the school alone. Some flexibility will be required to shift patterns depending on the school and the needs of the young people. 

Successful candidates will have to meet the person specification in order to be offered this post.
