The DWP Mid- Life MOT Programme has been designed to encourage and enable people to stay in work longer and enjoy a more secure retirement through helping them take stock of their Work, Wealth, and Wellbeing.
The role of the Career Coach is to provide high quality customer engagement through building of rapport and trust to support their engagement into the process. Additionally, you will be responsible for delivering 1:1 support to participants as part of the work pillar, including identifying transferable skills (Utilising transferable skills assessment tool Cascaid Kudos) to improve career resilience and jointly developing a plan with participants to build these skills. This could be delivered on employer premises, other agreed locations or remotely.
What are we looking for?
We're searching for an individual who can provide outstanding customer service to participants which includes welcoming and clearly establishing the benefits of participation. Additionally, we are looking for;
Ability to build rapport and maintain relationships
Ability to coach and mentor individuals
IAG Level 3 (desirable)
Able to travel dependent upon business needs
Previous experience working in a performance target driven environment
Previous experience of supporting people with a range of barriers into work is desirable but not essential. We welcome applications from all candidates who are passionate about changing the lives of others.
