Daley Recruitment Limited are recruiting a Production Manager on behalf of a small to medium sized, family run food production business.

As Production Manager your key objectives will be to manage and optimise the performance of a manufacturing facility, manage and train staff to maximise the benefit of the facility and to optimise production capabilities.

Job Accountabilities:
1. People & Training - Lead, motivate and train staff to achieve high standards through clear, effective and fair communication
2. Health & Safety - Raise the profile of Health & Safety ensuring all employees work in a safe manner and take responsibility for Health & Safety issues
3. Budget Responsibility - control departmental expenditure within budget and be involved in creation of annual budgets.
4. Operations - Ensure all orders are complete and deal with any issues or shortfalls, develop and manage factory planning, control and reporting system. Develop and lead improvement in operational productivity and reduction of waste.
5. Performance - Implement KPI's and review on regular basis and ensure Operational requirements and service levels are met
6. Production Team Management - Ensure effective methods of communication between departments and within the factory and contribute to the continuous improvement of the business performance.

To Apply for this role you should:
1. Have experience within a food production and factory environment
2. Have a hands on approach to all aspects of the role
3. Have previous experience in Budget Responsibility, Performance Management, Health & Safety and Operations Management

This role is based on Monday to Friday but with a degree of flexibility to meet the demands of the business and its customers. Paying between 45&55k dependent on experience.
