In this exciting new role, your focus will be on the provision of patient feeding at Hereford Hospital, ensuring the standard of food and production throughout the service is maintained for patients. Particular emphasis will be based on food quality and monitoring of patient catering at ward level.
You will be regularly visible on wards, ensuring meal observations are carried out. We are therefore seeking an experienced people supervisor and excellent communicator who can confidently liaise with Trust ward staff and management teams whilst managing your own team.

Main Responsibilities
What you'll do:
To deliver the highest possible standard of patient dining services across the site
Manage and deliver effective and efficient services that meet contract obligations, KPI’s and agreed Trust and company policies and procedures
To ensure compliance with all legislative, health and Sodexo policies and procedures
Ensure delivery of first class services to patients, staff and visitors of Hereford County Hospital
Manage efficient and customer focused services
Maintain services that exceed the level of performance required in the contractual quality performance regime.
Eliminate the risk of financial penalties.

The Ideal Candidate
What you bring
Good operational background in Catering, supervision or management, (or related), ideally with exposure to the healthcare market.
Experience in supervising others
Evidence of continued professional development
Stays compliant with all mandatory training.
Good knowledge of Sodexo’s managerial behaviours, competencies, and values
